Gregor Mendel deserves a memorial in Washington D.C.. He needs a memorial because he was named the “Father of Genetics” because his studies on peas showing you can change the genetics in them. His memorial would be located in Lafayette Square so many people can see it. If he didn’t find out some of the things he did back then our world may not have been as it is now because we wouldn't know about genes. Therefore we may not know about pure breeding and crossbreeding, and many other types of breeding and animals and human genes. This is why Gregor Mendel deserves a memorial.
